Course Synopsis

This one-day workshop provides practical toolkit for Executives and Managers to write employment contract, HR policies and procedures that are more suited for today's business environment. Participants will learn by going through the process of understanding the difference between legal entitlements and privileges; deciding what should be covered / excluded in employment contract; and the steps in developing policies and procedures.

Course Trainer

Mr Nicholas Sim

Mr Nicholas Sim is an accredited Senior Human Resource Professional, Trainer, Facilitator, and Coach. He has a Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management from Curtin University of Technology (Australia) and a Master degree in Business Administration from University of Birmingham (UK). He is also a full-ACTA certified Trainer. He conducts numerous public and client in-house workshops and courses in employment laws, union relations, and HRM topics for various institutions. Nicholas corporate career includes having been Divisional Director (HR) with Nanyang Technological University and Vice-President with OCBC Bank. Prior to these, he was with SIA Engineering, Royal Ahold-Kerry, Varta Batteries, and Singapore Island Country Club.
